Kyle Motley and Kay Wilson have joined the auditing and consulting teams at Crosslin & Associates. Motley joins the Crosslin business valuation team as a senior valuation analyst. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Daymar Institute in Murfreesboro, and most recently worked as a business valuation analyst for Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain. Wilson joins the Crosslin team as an audit senior. She most recently worked as a senior auditor for Kraft CPAs. She also served as a CPA accountant for James, Hardy & Haley, CPAs, and as an independent contract accountant, both in Shreveport, La.

Linda Knight , a lawyer with Gullett Sanford Robinson & Martin, has been honored by the Tennessee General Assembly for service as a member of the Tennessee Ethics Commission. She was appointed to the commission by House Speaker Jimmy Naifeh in 2006 and served a four-year term.

Two research analysts with Avondale Partners were recently named to a list of the nation’s top stock analysts by Financial Times , and one was named “Best on the Street” by the Wall Street Journal . Senior research analyst Kevin Campbell was named the top stock picker in the Healthcare Providers and Services Industry by Financial Times , and also was named “Best on the Street” for his work in the health-care industry in the Wall Street Journal ’s annual rankings. Senior research analyst Bret Jordan was named the No. 3 stock picker in the Specialty Retail Industry by Financial Times .

Three founding directors of Avenue Bank were re-elected to new three-year terms on the board of directors at the recent annual shareholders meeting. They are Ron Samuels, David B. Ingram and Kenneth J. Robold . The three men have represented shareholders on the bank’s governing body since 2007.

The Nashville/Midsouth region of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has named four new board members. They are Justin Harvey , program manager, Nashville Public Television; Demetria Kalodimos , anchor, WSMV; Caitlin King , entertainment writer/video, for The Associated Press; and Stan Knott , general manager of WKRN.

Forrest Shoaf , senior vice president and chief legal officer of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc., has been elected to the board of directors of the National Restaurant Association. He will serve through December 2012. Shoaf joined Cracker Barrel in 2005. He served 12 years in the U.S. Army, retiring with the rank of lieutenant colonel, before beginning his law career.
