Amanda Bynes wears crazy aqua shoes to MTV Movie Awards 2011

The fashion parade has begun at the MTV Awards 2011.

It was obvious that Amanda Bynes was wearing a classic Herve Legere dress. Bynes has selected pieces from this designer before The beige bandage dress was paired with crazy mile high aqua Louboutin platform shoes with three layers of front fringe and peep toes.

She added a vintage half-moon or crescent shape vintage Chanel clutch.

While every element was lovely by itself, the combo just did not work. The dress was super sexy and the shoes were too. If she had just added a neutral clutch, she would have hit the look perfectly. Another thought would be neutral shoes with an aqua clutch. The Chanel clutch would have been nice with a pair of jeans or even shorts with a sexy blazer. The clutch in no way belonged with the dress.

This is a good example of wanting to wear every great piece you see with no thought to the end look.

Bynes would look lovely in just anything, but she most certainly could have improved on this look.

High marks go to Rosie Huntington Whiteley in a Dolce and Gabbana animal print. Whiteley recently hit #1 on Maxim's Hot 100 list and we of course see why.

Lily Collins also wore D&G with Louboutin pumps.
