Bing's share of online searches stays steady
Bing Microsoft hangs its 14.4 per cent of the market for search engines, according to new data from comScore yesterday.
Looking to comScore U.S. search engine for July, Bing has remained flat, Google has lost only 0.4 percentage points, and Yahoo rose slightly by 0.2 points. Overall, Google continues to lead with an overwhelming 65.1 shares market percent, leaving Yahoo in second place with 16.1 percent.
Drilling down to the actual number of searches in the U.S. last month, Google has won a total of 11.2 billion, an increase of 2 percent in June Yahoo captured two.8 billion, up 4 percent. Bing and accounted for $ 2.5 billion, a gain of 3 percent.
Overall, Internet users ran over 17.1 billion searches last month, up 3 percent in June
