RICK PERRY TROUNCES ROMENY IN ZOGBY/NEWSMAX POLL

Texas Governor Rick Perry, gets 55% of the vote Romneya € ™ s 22%

Despite the best deals the major media to give the Republican nomination for president Mitt Romney, before anyone has actually voted, the polls Zogby / Newsmax again shows how incredibly vulnerable Romney is, and how the Conservatives do not like not the man.

In a recent Zogby / Newsmax survey of likely primary voters Republicans, Rick Perry, Mitt Romney destroyed, mainly through the board in a game head-to-head.

Newsmax reports:

â € Œno is how you look at this, Romneya € ™ s candidacy has holes in the core Republican base, a € pollster John Zogby tells Newsmax. â € œIn simple one-to-head confrontations against the two non-candidate, he gets drubbed.â €

The other candidate is not governor of New Jersey Chris Christie beating Romney with 62 percent of the vote.

Since Christie continues to say he has no interest in running for president, and since Rick Perry is now considering a race, and since we live in Texas, Run € ™ s further examine the Perry vsNumbers Romney.

59 percent of those who will vote in the GOP primary, but that they are independent, support Perry. This is what people in Texas would call a good old fashioned butt whoopin '.

Perry beats Romney 46 percent to 37 percent among those who call themselves moderate, and hereâ € ™ SA shocker, the support of the Liberals Romney 58 percent to only 3 percent for Perry.

The Conservatives strongly support Perry over Romney at 62 percent against 16 percent for the architect of Romneycare.

Romney can only manage to collect a meager 20 percent among voters who think the country is heading in the wrong direction.

Romney did manage to squeak past Perry among those who list their religion as a œOther € / € None.â

Rick Perry will be in front of the Conservatives, August 12 â € "14 years old when he appears at the third annual meeting of Red State. The rally will be held in South Carolina and will be hosted by Governor Haley Nikki.

The event takes place August 12 to 14 at the Hotel Francis Marion in Charleston, South Carolina.It begins with a private party hosted by Governor Haley on Friday evening and ends with a banquet on Saturday night.

Artists' Retreat, Charleston, SC | Anita Goodesign

Last weekend, Steve, Aundrea, myself, and the two out of state artists, Yolanda and Ginny, went to Charleston, SC for a big artists’ meeting and retreat. It was an excellent choice in location! The last time we had an artists’ meeting was at the office… we thought it would be great to go someplace else to help stimulate our creative juices.

Charleston, if you have not been there, is one of the most beautiful cities in America! It is so rich in history, art, ghosts (oh my!), and is a really inspiring place to travel. The weather was beautiful– in the low 90′s the whole weekend. We stayed at the Francis Marion Hotel, which is an historical hotel in the heart of the city. Coincidentally, there was a huge art fair going on across the street called the “Farmer’s Market,” although it was unlike any farmer’s market I’ve ever been to! We also were lucky enough to arrive the day of the Charleston Gallery Crawl. Things really worked out in our favor in the Charleston art scene, and we really hadn’t planned for either of those events!

We spent the first day walking around the city and touring art galleries. A lot of Charleston galleries tend to carry a theme of paintings of the bay and white egrets, but we definitely found some galleries that deviated from the norm. The Robert Lang Gallery, for instance, was voted the best gallery in Charleston and it is currently housing an exhibition of a few artists who do really unique work. One artist had a series of girls wearing long socks on their hands. It sounds silly, but the paintings were really cool! And we met Robert Lang himself– he paints in a realistic surrealism style. There was a realistic leopard in a cereal bowl, a pair of fingers holding up a tiny moon, and he was actually working on a piece that had a pair of legs that appeared to be Photoshopped on top of a forest background. Quite interesting!

Something really neat about Charleston is that you can walk along the street and every once in a while you happen past an alley that you almost don’t notice, but if you look down it, it’s actually a beautiful pathway garden! They are hidden everywhere and they’re really magnificent. I also adore the look of the gigantic old oak trees with veils of Spanish moss hanging from their branches. It’s like a scene right out of a movie!

Our second day was one big art meeting until 3pm. Steve and I brought samples from the office to show the other artists what types of projects we’re coming up with, etc. It’s really fun to show the artists the projects that we make using the artwork that they send. It’s always such a transformation from drawing to stitch-out.
